There are subtle differences between BOTOX Cosmetic™ and Xeomin™, however. These naturally occurring proteins have ‘presumably inactive” surrounding proteins that are stripped away, and thus Xeomin™ in San Francisco represents the purified form of the active protein. In theory, this product would be less likely to produce ‘blocking antibodies” that could result, in repeated treatments, in an incomplete response to the drug.

In practice, few, if any, cosmetic surgery patients have ever developed blocking antibodies to any of the available neuromodulators – in other words, the theoretical advantage has demonstrated no clinical importance.

Experience Lasting Transformation
