Eyelids are delicate areas that can show a great deal of change during the aging process. The skin and muscle tissue in the area may droop over time, causing wrinkles to form. Eyelid surgery can be used to recontour the eyelids.
Your eyelid surgery can take up to two hours. Many factors come into play, however, and so it may require more or less time depending on these. The more tissue that needs to be altered, the longer the procedure can take. Only getting a single eyelid recontoured will not take as long as getting all four lids recontoured.
